    Position Summary:

    QNA is currently recruiting a Mechanical Engineering Co-op for the Survivability division of Land Systems. This position requires a motivated, self-starting individual with interest in design, mechanical systems assembly and testing. Responsibilities include 3D component design, mock-up & fabrication, detailed drawing, armor testing, engineering changes and project reports. Other tasks could include dimensional inspection, component testing, basic design, analysis and documentation covering a wide range of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.



    Co-op should be currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering. One prior co-op preferred but not required. Computer aided design (CAD) experience, measurement and analysis course work, basic understanding of statistical principles required.  Report writing skills strongly desired with examples of work during interview process encouraged. Basic machining skills, familiarity with hand tools and familiarity with electronic equipment is desired but not required.  Student must be able to work individually and as part of a team. Work includes military applications.
