    Job Description:

    • Entry level Quality Assurance position working in an AS9100 environment
    • Responsible for supporting incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electromechanical hardware
    • Verify product conformance to program specifications, drawings and acceptance tests
    • Contribute to Material Review Board (MRB) activities, perform root cause analysis and participate in corrective action process
    • Coordinate problem resolution with the engineering, manufacturing and program teams
    • Capture inspection data and supplier data packages in VISUAL Quality Module
    • Perform First Article Inspections
    • Work with Suppliers to resolve non-conformances and corrective actions
    • Interface with Customer QA representatives
    • Support Quality Management System (QMS), AS9100C and CMMI processes and perform audits
    • Create and review procedures & work instructions
    • Support assigned programs in accordance with detailed Quality Plans
    • Ensure calibrated equipment is calibrated in a timely manner
    • Interface with engineering, manufacturing, program office and configuration management
    • Perform all other related duties as assigned

    Required Experience:

    • BS degree with 0-2 years of experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
    • Must be proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Possess good technical communications and team building skills
    • Ability to problem solve and critically think
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
    • Self-starter able to work independently

    Desired experience:

    • BS in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
    • Recent experience operating a CMM
    • Certified IPC-A-610/620 Inspector
    • Recent experience working in an AS9100C environment
    • Experience working on DOD electromechanical products
    • Excellent communications skills
    • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in accordance with ANSI/ASME Y14.5
