Position Requires U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, assists in conducting research in the design, development, testing and utilization of electronic data processing software.

Participates in the design, development, documenting, testing and debugging of applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.

Assists in determining computer user needs; analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; preparing operating instructions; designing and developing compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.

Ensuring software standards are met. May assist in analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

May participate in designing, developing and modifying software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.

May assist in coordinating software system installations and monitoring equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.

 

Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Engineering, Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience.

Proficiency in Linux is required.

Must be proficient in C++.

Windows C# exposure a plus.
