A creative Mechanical Engineer to work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to integration and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement).
  • Prioritize and complete design-engineering projects to maximize production and cost effectiveness, supporting the in-house needs of Manufacturing and Engineering.
  • Conduct experiments methodically, analyze data and interpret results.
  • Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems. Stay ahead of the competition by lending creative talent to the design and formulation of new product lines and enhancements.
  • Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety.
  • Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions.
  • Prepare product reports, test reports and documentation.
  • Train technicians and operators in manufacturing procedures to ensure consistent adherence of inter-plant process specifications/standards.



  • Proven track record in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAE) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM).
  • Design for Manufacturing and GD & T skills essential.
  • Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., Solid Works, ProE or other).
  • Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge.
  • Finite Element Analysis
  • Statistical Analysis (Preferred)
  • Design of Experimentation (Preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of core mechanical engineering concepts including mechanics, kinematics, materials science etc.
  • Creativity and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated Individual able to ‘think out of the box’.
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five to seven years of experience in a technical environment or equivalent combination of training and experience.
