The Configuration Management (CM) Product Specialist is responsible for investigating engineering change proposals (ECP’s) and revised drawings to determine the effect on overall product configuration baselines. He\She must manage product baselines, revision control, create and assure accurate Bill of Materials in the PDM system. He\She will also be responsible for examining and reporting obsolescence of configuration items, prepare, review and coordinate engineering changes (EC’s) and check the integrity of data in the Windchill\PDM system.

o The candidate must be highly motivated and detail oriented.
o Experienced with MIL/DoD standards, in particular with EIA-649 and MIL-HDBK-61
o Ability to interpret contract sow with respect to configuration management requirements
o Working knowledge for performing configuration Status accounting tasks
o Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. As well as familiarity with electrical and mechanical specifications/standards.
o Understand Software configuration management builds
o Experience with CAD programs a plus PTC/Creo Products
o Hands-on experience with Windchill\PDMLink or another PDM system
o Proficient with Microsoft Office Products PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Bachelor of Degree in Technical, Engineering or Business with 5 plus years of CM related experience in PDM/PLM environment required.

5-7 years’ experience working with ASME standards.
