Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Work in a fast-paced environment to help deliver world-class robotic systems for the U.S. Military.  The staff software engineer will be responsible for working with engineering and manufacturing to support production issues pertaining to the various product lines.  Tasks include maintaining software tools and procedures, troubleshooting of software related issues such as networking and configuration, as well as providing software support for end-of-life components.  Work with Mechanical and Electrical engineers to identify and solve complex system level issues.

 

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 2-5 years’ experience
  • MS in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent plus 1-3 years’ experience.
  • Experience developing C++ applications in a Linux environment
  • Experience developing C# applications in a Windows environment
  • Strong knowledge and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Flexible, self-started, desire to solve any problem
  • U.S. citizenship

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing embedded applications for Micro Controllers
  • Experience with bus protocols such as CAN, SPI, RS232, and I2C
  • Working knowledge of C# 5.0 / .NET 4.5 or higher
  • UI development
  • Multi-threaded Application development
  • Experience working with Distributed Architectures
  • Experience with field testing robotic systems
